First Judicial Courts Established
“For the first time in Bikaner, separate Civil, Criminal, and Revenue Courts were established for proper administration of justice.”

Nizamat System Introduced
“The earlier courts were reorganized and separate Nizamats were established. Appeals against their decisions were heard by Raj Sabha and later by Izlas-Khas.”

Appellate Court Established
“An Appellate Court (Chief Court) was established during the Regency Council period to strengthen the judicial system and appellate mechanism in the State.”

Early Judicial Administration
“Tehsildars, Nayab Tehsildars, Nazims, Munsiffs, and District Judges were entrusted with varying civil and criminal jurisdictions, laying the foundation of structured judicial governance.”

High Court of Judicature Established
High Court of Judicature Established“On 3 May 1922, the High Court of Judicature at Bikaner was established under the authority of His Highness Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji. The Court was constituted on the pattern of Presidency High Courts such as Calcutta and Bombay.”

1940 Historic High Court Proclamation
“In 1940, Maharaja Ganga Singh issued a fresh proclamation reaffirming the powers, jurisdiction, and constitutional structure of the High Court of Judicature at Bikaner.”

Post Independence & Rajasthan Merger
“After the merger of Bikaner State into Rajasthan, a Circuit Bench of the Rajasthan High Court continued functioning at Bikaner until February 1950.”
